Style is a starting point for comparing structure

American-style rolled-edge, American-style anti-jam and European-style pans have different rim and body features. Even under the same GN size designation, internal dimensions, corner radii, depth and matching requirements need to be checked separately.

American-Style Rolled Edge

A rolled rim and straight-sided body without an anti-jam shoulder. Review the rim profile alongside handling, equipment openings and cleaning requirements. The current range includes eight GN sizes and does not include 2/1.

American-Style Anti-Jam

A flat rim and stepped body with an anti-jam shoulder. Examine the shoulder design; stacking, separation and equipment fit should be confirmed for the specific SKU and actual product.

European Style

A European-style rim, with internal dimensions and corner-radius data recorded by specification. Thickness versions have their own unit weights and SKUs. After choosing the size, select the required version.

Let the operating conditions guide the next check

For existing equipment, first check the usable opening, support position and permitted depth. For stacking or matching lids, also check the shoulder, rim and lid. The style name alone cannot establish suitability.

Record the complete specification

Keep the style, GN size, depth, thickness and SKU together. Compare products for the same application rather than treating the weight of different sizes or thicknesses as a ranking of quality.
